Lal Kitab is probably the most admired book for its brilliant and highly effective remedies. I had never thought that some day I will be putting this marvelous book on the internet. It will be worthwhile and useful for the learners who are facing tough time in understanding Urdu and Persian language used by respected Pt. Roop Chand Josh Ji. My actual objective is to offer this most valuable book in its original form with easy to understand language.

Pt Roop Chand Joshi Ji was born in Punjab, India in 1898. He was well versed with Urdu, Persian and English language. He was highly inclined towards studies and used to perform  well in his studies. He lost his mother early in his life. He had some divine powers since his childhood as he used to give past life predictions just by looking at the face and palm of the person. 

Once he went to enjoy his holidays  to his home town. He saw some male divine power in his dream. He could not see his face clearly. That divine power started teaching him Lal Kitab Astrology in his dreams and he used to write the same next morning. Later he started giving consultancy to people. He never used to charge any money. He went for his heavenly abode in 1982.

There are many unnecessary confusions about Lal Kitab and its origin. Actually, Pt. Roop Chand Ji was a very down to earth person and he never aimed for any financial gains or social status. He just wanted to serve the humanity henceforth he wrote Lal Kitab books for students of Astrology. They were published through a publisher well known to him without any authors name.  

Though Pt. Ji was not a Maha Rishi but I personally respect him equal to Maharishi Parashar.
