7th House is the permanent house of Venus. Mercury jointly rules this house. Pandit Roop Chand Ji states that this house as the house of Family life and compares it with potter's wheel which has two circular stones and a handle to rotate. The lower fixed stone is compared with Venus (like earth) and upper rotating stone is compared with Mercury (sky). And the planet posited in eighth is compared with the handle used to rotate the upper circular stone.
When there is no planet in first house, 7th house will be considered as ineffective not giving results or in other words, it is called as sleeping house. Native's fortune will rise when planet posited in 8th comes to 2nd in Varshphal.
When Mercury and Venus are together, Saturn also gives good results. Native will be blessed with wealth and Venus will also give excellent results in terms of wealth.
7th house signifcation are southern side, Cow, Spouse, outer show off, Dust or मिटटी , Libra, Marriage, Progress, Fruit, whiteness like curd, seed or semen, plaster, breast, flower- Mercury, Daughter and her family, egg born birds, power of arms etc
Normally, female planets effects females and male planet effects males but if there are more than two planets in 8th house, even female planets will impact males. For example if Moon is placed in 7th house with two planets, whatever effect we expect or delineate on Moon (Mother), due to position, aspect, conjunction etc from planets posited in 1/7 houses, will be seen on Father i.e. Jupiter. Venus in similar position will indicate effect on native himself rather than wife or even other males.
