Ninth House signifies Preacher, elders, parental property, longevity of grand father, father and self, source of earnings, previous birth, deeds, Holy river Ganga, mother,s womb, semen, Human head with animal torso with wings, beginning portion of nose, fortune etc. It showers its good results on 2nd house. The third house is the first one to influence 9th house followed by 5th house. Malefic Mars, Mercury and Venus are considered ill placed in 9th house. Saturn, Ketu or other male planets and Moon are good in this house. Jupiter's placement in horoscope decides results of this house.
Whenever a sleeping planet of the horoscope comes to 9th house in Varshphal, it will give its good results up to same number of years of its age. For example, Jupiter in 2nd house will come to 9th house in 16th year so Jupiter will give his good results for 16+16 = 32 years. Sun in 8th house will visit 9th in 22nd year hence will his good results up to 22 + 22 = 44 year. Moon of 10th house will visit 9th in 24th year hence will give her good results for 24+24 = 48 years. Mars of 2nd house will visit 9th in 28th year hence will give good results up to 56th year. Saturn of 8th will visit 9th in 36th year; Rahu of 4th house will visit 9th in 42nd year and lastly Ketu of 9th house will visit 9th in 48th year.
Its not like the planet will not visit 9th house before the mentioned age as above but Pandit Ji states that the said planet is in sleeping state hence it will start giving its results from its age.
Also, Venus and Mercury are excluded above as they do not give good results in 9th house. Venus placed in 12th house will visit 9th house in 25th year. If Venus is not afflicted by 3/5 houses, it will give good results else it will give bad results till 25th year. Similarly, Mercury in 3rd house will give its results till 34th year.
